"Mechtild of Magdeburg" is a print from the 2022 original painting by Marcy Hall, part of the Abbey of the Arts Dancing Monk Series.

Each vivid print is on acid free, archival quality matte photo paper and measures 5"x10" and is mounted on a 11"x14" matte. The print is hand-signed and titled on the matte.

Mechtild, part of the Beguine order, was a Medieval Christian author and mystic. She was the first mystic to write in her native tongue of German. She is pictured with mice and a bird surrounded by nature and the Beguine convent where she lived.

The Dancing Monk series is a collaboration between Pennsylvania painter Marcy Hall of Rabbit Room Arts, and author Christine Valters Paintner of Abbey of the Arts, a virtual monastery based in Ireland.
