“Ignatius of Loyola”
A print from the original painting by Marcy Hall.
Ignatius is the Patron Saint of Soldiers. As a soldier himself, he was convalescing from his own war wounds when he had a vision of Mary holding the Baby Jesus. The vision brought him extreme comfort during his healing and led to a life-long devotion to Mary. He went on to become one of the founders of the Jesuits who played a major role in the modernization of the Catholic Church.
Each vivid print is on acid free, archival quality matte photo paper and measures 5"x10" and is mounted on a 11"x14" matte. The print is hand-signed and titled on the matte.
The Dancing Monk series is a collaboration between Pennsylvania painter Marcy Hall of Marcy Hall Arts, and author Christine Valters Paintner of Abbey of the Arts, a virtual monastery based in Ireland.

To say that I'm happy would be a total understatement!! I love this print and find it inspiring! The next step is to find a beautiful frame for this work of art...

We are a campus ministry and this piece is going to be hung right by our door so people can see it as they leave. The phrase over the top of St. Ignatius, "Go set the world on fire," is exactly the kind of spirit we want our students to (figuratively) be filled with in our ministry. These prints are so well done and perfect pieces to hang as inspiration.
